The Dutch Animation Collection: a Work in Progress

Dutch animation film has a history that goes back to the first decades of the 20th century. Over the course of history many Dutch animation filmmakers have been internationally successful; their work shown at major festivals and receiving many awards.
This text looks at why many of these films are unknown, essentially lost to contemporary audiences and film heritage.
